On Wednesday, 27th September, Two had the honour of being crowned champion of the Growth category at this year’s Nordic Fintech Week in Copenhagen having shown significant expansion in the last three years, an upward trajectory of capital funds, and a growing team!

What is Nordic Fintech Week?

Nordic Fintech Week is the greatest Fintech event in the Nordics with over 100 speakers, 2000 attendees, 200 Fintechs, and 100 sessions. The two-day conference connects industry experts, innovators, and thought leaders in the Fintech ecosphere.

As part of the event, Two was first nominated in the Growth category for the awards. After being one of two companies selected for the finals, CEO and Co-Founder Andreas Mjelde gave his four minute pitch to tell people how Two is changing the face of B2B payments.

Each finalist was judged by a jury of Managing Directors, Fintech experts and Investors from the likes of Visa, Citi and UNDP.

Two’s recent win highlights the success we’ve seen since founding as we transition from startup to scaleup.

Andreas’ pitch painted of a universe in which selling B2B was filled not with frustration, tied up working capital, and needless admin, but instead upfront payments, instant credit decisions, and a seamless checkout experience.

The pitch that secured the win!

The pitch also included a recorded demo by Two’s Strategic Sales Manager and Co-Founder Ed Brandler, showing how easy it is to apply and purchase with trade credit using Two, all in under 1 minute.

Shortly after (and with a tense period of deliberation), Two was announced winners!

As Andreas says, “Recognition for our hard work is always welcomed, but especially when it's from big players like Copenhagen Fintech. It's an honour!"
