Two Enhances Payout Transparency with New Settlement Reports View

Recently, we noticed that our Support team was getting a lot of questions about payouts. More specifically, our merchants were having difficulty understanding the details of these payouts and matching them to their own records.

These questions made us realise that further work needed to be done to make sure our Settlement Page and payout processes were as clear as possible. After numerous customer interviews and extensive research into ideal settlement reporting, we’re happy to announce a number of updates to our Settlements Reports page in the Merchant Portal!

Check out the changes yourself here and read on to learn more.

Updates to the Settlement Reports page

Our latest update gives our merchants two brand new views in the Settlement Reports section of the Merchant Portal. These views are designed to give a clearer view of recent payments, current balances, estimated fees and more.

Recent payouts

In this new view, each row corresponds with an individual payout made from Two to you. Each payout also has a payment reference number, making it easier to match payouts to bank statements. You can also easily download reports for individual payouts.

Balance view

Another new view is the balance section, showing your accrued balance since your last payout was processed. Your current balance shows the amount you can expect to be paid out at the end of your chosen payout cycle (this can be daily, weekly, or monthly). The great thing about this view is that it immediately shows you how much Two owes you at any given moment in time.

Reports

Finally, we’ve given merchants the option to download both the balance report and individual payout reports for a custom time period from directly within the Settlement reports tab. Both of these reports are available in xlsx and csv format.

Watch the video from Two’s Senior Product Manager, Daniel for more details here.
